If not unconditional ubi... surely it's a good idea to give ubi and indeed small plots of land to people who agree to participate in reforestation on those plots and such projects that fight climate change... since a major part of the problem is Peasants who "own" more land than they can handle and erode the land. So take away part of their lands and give it to the landless citizenry, with a ubi. Not for nothing, they'd actually sign up for reforesting and reversing climate change which is or should be the No. 1 priority
